Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Rochester is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

A lovely little bistro, tucked away in a large plaza with easy access and lots of parking. Ice cold fish and large sashimi cuts too! The miso soup had a very well balanced flavor. The salad was crisp and the dressing was perky. Attentive and jovial staff. We had a great late lunch followed by a cup of sake. Check out Tokyo today, they have fast service, tasty sushi and good prices. I will be back again soon. A warm thank you to the helpful staff.

I've been meaning to try this place for years and finally got the chance. As soon as I walked in, the sushi chef gave a friendly wave and the waitress was nice. While I was waiting for my takeout, I observed that this is the kind of place where regulars chat with each other and everybody knows your name. The food was great and had lots of flavor, especially the ginger dressing and miso soup. I got a ton of food for my money and I ate it throughout the afternoon! I'd love to become a regular here.

A hole in the wall sort of spot. My friends and I went here and the food is pretty large for the price you pay. The calamari was fantastic with the spicy kick and numbing effect of the peppers. I would come back

Order the shareable sushi platter. You will have ZERO regrets. Every piece was delicious and it’s a great way to try a bit of everything. It will take more than two people to finish it so be ready to be stuffed.

Best shrimp spring rolls I have ever eaten! The chicken teriyaki was delicious. Great service! I came back for a second time and the Sriracha chicken was one of the best dishes I ever tasted. The chicken was lightly crispy and had a delicious sauce!!
